A series of 17 Illustrations of good practice videos and case studies have been developed to highlight the key features required for delivering quality vocational education and training (VET) programs to students. The videos were produced in collaboration with government, Catholic and independent secondary schools across metropolitan, regional and remote regions in Australia.
The school leaders, teachers and VET co-ordinators interviewed in the videos highlight examples of how schools meet the ‘good practice’ principles outlined in the VET Self-assessment tool for schools. The self-assessment tool is designed to assist schools plan, implement and review VET programs that offer nationally recognised qualifications or accredited courses and can be used by schools across all educational sectors to evaluate and improve the quality of VET delivery.
The illustrations of good practice were developed by Education Services Australia on behalf of the Australian Government.
